The young winner of a drawing competition run this summer by
Woodhead Oswestry Sales and Lettings and the Principality Oswestry Agency has
been announced.
The competition, launched at The Marches School Family Fun
Day was aimed at children aged up to 12 years old and invited them to draw and
colour a picture of Dylan the Dragon – the building society’s fiery mascot – on
his summer holidays.
The lucky winner was seven-year-old Megan from Ellesmere for
her picture of Dylan on a beach. Megan won a family day pass to Park Hall Farm.
Agency owner Kate Howell said: “We received a lot of
excellent entries and it was very hard to pick just one. Megan’s really stood
out though and the rest of the office agreed it was the clear winner.
“We’re grateful to Park Hall Farm for supporting the
competition. We intend to work with them in the future on some exciting
projects that bring together the family-focus on business that we both have.”
Principality Oswestry Agency, established four years ago on
Leg Street in Oswestry is part of Wales’ largest building society, offering
savings and mortgages.
